YA Pizza Party - August 19, 2003

These readers know how to read for the fun of it. Pictured are some of the 150 + participants of Schlow Centre Region Library's Young Adult Summer Reading Club "Read...Think...Dream..." In addition to winning really cool prizes for reading books during the summer, they were treated to an ice cream social on July 23 and free pizza party before going back to school.
 

YA Summer Reading Club participants were treated to a pizza party at the State College Municipal Building.	The theme for the party was based on National Inventor's Month. YAs played a game based on little known facts and misconceptions about inventions.	The YAs divided into three teams and were given variety of simple items and told to think of something they could make with the items.
The girls group made an artistic hanging.	The boys groups both made a type of throwing game.
