The Friends of Schlow Library is the behind-the-scenes group that helps us provide the quality service you've come to know and expect here at Schlow. Over 400 Friends members are led by a nine member board of directors who make decisions about how Friends money will be spent to support the library. They also work on special projects and programs to promote the library and make it a welcoming and active place. Membership in the Friends is open to any interested person or organization.
On January 22nd we unveiled a new sculpture by artist Mark Pilato, donated by Blake and Linda Gall. Modern Day Thinker stands on the landing of the stairwell to the second floor, contemplating the compass attached to the weather vane atop the Library's landmark cupola. Stop and look up when you are on your way up the stairs.more info
