Internet Use Policy

The Centre County Federation of Public Libraries provides free public internet service at both the Schlow Centre Region Library and the Centre County Library and Historical Museum. 

The internet policy is intended to maximize computer availability and define their acceptable use.

Event Space Use

Library event spaces are available for community events and activities of a cultural, educational and civic nature that are free of charge and open to the general public. The spaces are not available for commercial, fund-raising, or private events. Event spaces are reserved according to the following priorities: the Library, the Friends of the Library, Centre Area Transportation Authority (CATA), all other community groups.

Collection Development Policy

The Centre County Federation of Public Libraries, consisting of Centre County Library & Historical Museum and Schlow Centre Region Library, provides a wide variety of free library resources and services to individuals and community groups in Centre County.

The collection development policy is intended to implement the general objectives of the public library: to meet the informational, educational, cultural, and recreational needs of the community with a full range of modern library services and resources.
