  • Afternoon Book Discussion Group:The House on Mango Street and Caramelo by Sandra Cisneros


    Join a member of the Schlow staff as they lead a discussion on the best selling novels by Sandra Cisneros, The House on Mango Street and Caramelo.

    These books are the 2013 Centre County Reads Selections. You are encouraged to read one or both of these novels.

    Schlow Library is also pleased to announce that Sandra Cisneros will speak on April 15th at 7pm at The State Theatre.

    Join a member of the Schlow staff as they lead a discussion on the best selling novel by Jennifer Egan, A Visit from the Goon Squad.

    Pre-registration for this event is not required but, if you have any questions please contact a member of the Schlow ReferenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics.
