Aging

May is Older Adults Month and Schlow offers many wonderful resources for Older Adults. In addition to our  wonderful collection of books, we offer many of these titles in Large Print, on cassette, on CD and in downloadable formats. If you are homebound, we have Library by Mail, where you receive itemsBooks, audiovisual materials, periodicals. in the mail and return them in the same package - it is very easy and free. We also offer referenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics.
