With over 60 submissions, and a limited amount of space, the decision was an exceptionally difficult one. The Committee would like to thank all the artists who submitted work this year. We are proud of the great talent that exists in our community and welcome the opportunity to exhibit your work in the future.
- Local artist David Charriere's intriguing portraits are characterized by an expressive depth. His impressionist brush strokes and classic palette combine to echo the style and composition of such painters as Berthe Morisot and Édouard Manet. A keen eye will notice that this show includes two studies Charriere has done from works by favorite artist John Singer Sargent.more info

The Gallery is pleased to present the works of clay artist, Linna Muschlitz from May 1st to May 31st. An opening is scheduled in the Library's Downsborough Room, Sunday, May 6th from 2 to 4 PM. Stop in a talk with the artist about her inspiration and her techniques.
more infoThe award-winning poet, Robert Lima, has framed some of his published poems with photographs and other images conveying the themes of his works. In celebration with National Poetry Month, these eloquent visual pieces will be on display in the gallery from April 2nd to April 30th. A reception and book signing will occur on April 21st from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Stop in for coffee, snacks and a chance to talk to Dr. Lima about his work.

Inspired by rich coral reefs and lush rain forests, Garris mixes red, yellow, and blue MX dyes to create hundreds of hues and shades to color the fabrics used in her organically graphic artwork.

She is represented in numerous museum collections around the globe, including the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, Harvard University Library, The Suleymaniye in Istanbul, and The Museum of Antiquities in Urumchi, China. Her one-of-a-kind work has also been commissioned by companies such as Godiva Chocolate, Lenox China, and HarperCollins.
