Centre County Reads
- Centre County Reads and the AAUW sponsored a showing of Persepolis at The State Theatre on Sunday, February 22, 2009. After the movie, 56 people made their way to the library to have a discussion with several Penn State students from Iran. Highlights included a brief history of Iran's history and government, Q&A about women's rights and education, plus some delicious Iranian pastries brought from Washington, DC just for us. Many thanks to the generous Iranian students who have been willing to share their lives with us.more info
