Join certified let's Play Music instructor Stormi Winscot for a fun music theory program!

Hey Teens! Not old enough to vote in the big election!  Come to the library and vote for your favorite music artists of the year and be entered to win an iTunes gift card!  Pick up a ballot form at the library, and turn in to the ReferenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics. These materials usually have an overnight loan period so they are available in the library most of the time. Desk!  Winner will be randomly drawn at the end of the month!

Drop by the Community Room between 2 and 4 PM and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with games, arts and crafts and fun facts about the Hispanic/Latino culture. 

Enjoy the music from a variety of countries and taste some traditional food.

Global Connections' international music program will kick off with an Indian music performance, Ragaa: Classical Music of India, on Thursday, May 23 at 12:15 p.m. in the Community Room. Bring your lunch and enjoy the show! A suggested donation of $5 benefits Global Connections and Schlow Library.

All performances will begin at 12:10 in the Downsbrough Community Room.

Look for upcoming World Sounds at Noon performances each Thursday from May 23-June 13.
