  • What's My Pin? Do I Need a New Card?

    The new Library Card is Green with an outline of Centre County on it.

    Having trouble checking on your account? Don't panic! You just need to come in and get a new library card and PIN number. If you don't know your PIN number, just call us and we'll be happy to help you!

    We are turning a page on the history of libraries in Centre County by joining our catalog with that of the Centre County Library. Each library will remain its own entity, but we are now sharing resources across the county.

    Every library card holder in Centre County will need to exchange their old card for a new federation card. This can be done very easily at the circulation desk as you enter the library.

  • Loan Periods and Item Renewals

    Don't forget to return your books!

    Most library items circulate for three weeks and may be renewed twice, except when an item has been requested by another patron, in which case the item will be recalled after the initial loan period.  Exceptions to the standard loan period include DVD's, which circulate for three days, and reference items, which circulate for 24 hours.  The library also lends audio visual equipment, which have variable loan periods.

  • How do I Report a Library Card Lost or Stolen?

    How Do I?

    If your library card is lost or stolen, please contact the Circulation Department immediately at 235-7815 to avoid any unauthorized use of your card.  An employee will make a notation on your account and request that you purchase a new card the next time you visit the library.

  • How do I Pay My Fine?

    It's easy to pay your fine.

    The library accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard or Discover card as payment.  All fine payments can be made in person at the Circulation Desk.  Credit card payments can also be made at any of the Self Check-Out machines or checks can be mailed to the library.  Please include your name and library card number on any mailed check payments and send them to the attention of the "Circulation Department". We cannot accept online or telephone credit card payments for fines at this time.
