The Schlow Centre Region Library Board of Trustees envisions the Library as our community's best and most sought after gathering place where all are welcome to pursue their interests, learn new skills, express their creativity, interact with other members of the community, and enhance their quality of life. To further this vision, the Library Director and Trustees are pleased to offer the Library's event spaces for use by the community.

Any library cardholder in good standing may access the Internet from the Libraries.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the information and materials accessed by minors under the age of 18 at this computer.

Adult Internet users are responsible for the information they choose to view.

more infoMost library materials are available for a three (3) week loan period.
Exceptions are 3-Day DVDs, newspapers, referenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics. These materials usually have an overnight loan period so they are available in the library most of the time. books, and audiovisual equipment. Interlibrary LoanWhen you request a material not in our collection, and we get it for you from another library. itemsBooks, audiovisual materials, periodicals. are subject to the lending library's policy.
Overdue Fines are:
$0.25 a day for Adult Department Materials
$0.15 a day for Children's Department Materials
$1.00 a day for 3-Day DVDs and Reference Books
$2.00 a day for audiovisual equipment$0.50 a day for Interlibrary Loan Items
more infoMost library items circulate for three weeks and may be renewed twice, except when an item has been requested by another patron, in which case the item will be recalled after the initial loan period. Exceptions to the standard loan period include DVD's, which circulate for three days, and reference items, which circulate for 24 hours. The library also lends audio visual equipment, which have variable loan periods.
more infoIf your library card is lost or stolen, please contact the Circulation Department immediately at 235-7815 to avoid any unauthorized use of your card. An employee will make a notation on your account and request that you purchase a new card the next time you visit the library.
