  • Learn to take and share spectacular vacation pictures! For this introductory digital photography course we will explore some basic creative uses of lighting, composition and design to capture great photographs, learn how to transfer them to a computer for basic photo editing and touch-up and sharing them with your friends and family. We will go over Flickr, Picnik and Picasa to edit, share and manage your photos. We recommend that you bring your camera if you have one.

    New for Fall in the Adult Department! Join us for 4 weeks of information and fun.

    Week 1 - September 21 - READ - Learn about Schlow's ebookeBook, or electronic book, is a book that you "read" on your computer screen. Schlow highlights one book a month from our collection of eBooks available at NetLibrary which can be found by logging into your account. There are many different books available for your perusal. collection and try out a nook, Kindle and Sony eReader.

    Week 2 - September 28 - LISTEN - Learn about Schlow's downloadable audiobooks and the devices that play them.

    Week 3 - October 5 - EXPLORE - Watch demonstrations of an iPhone and Droid. Bring your own phone and questions.

    Week4 - October 12 - INTERACT - Learn more about Skype and Google Chat. Try it out!
