"Catch the Reading Bug" Summer Reading Program Events

 

 Events in the Children's Department
Programs are subject to Change

  •   FIRST FRIDAY OF EACH MONTH, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, FREE DEVELOPMENTAL SCREENINGS for children birth to age 5. Skills will be evaluated in 5 major areas: motor, social, cognitive, language, and adaptive. We will have certified therapists from area early intervention agencies available to evaluate your child and answer your questions. This program is offered FREE of charge and no reservations are necessary.
     
  • Passport to the World of Reading - Saturdays, 11:00 am & 3:00 pm -  We've got story times every Saturday for 2- to 7-year-olds and their families in the Children's Activity Room. Come to one destination or all of them. You will receive a reading passport at your first visit and you can get it stamped every time you come in for our Saturday story time.
