Construction of Library Building at Beaver and Allen
Schlow Centre Region Library shut down Feb. 2, leaving its home at 100 East Beaver
Avenue in order to move to a temporary location - 118 South Fraser Street -
former home of the State College Borough municipal building. The new library
was built on Beaver and Allen on a larger piece of land and opened to the public
in October 2005.
