If you have not tried Zinio yet, go now. We have added twice as many titles as before. Get free, full-color magazines through schlowlibrary.org. Go to our website, click the link to log on to Schlow's databaseA subscription to a (password protected) website full of information. page, click on Zinio and follow the instructions to log on to Schlow's Zinio magazine collection. You will also have to set up a Zinio account (free) to access the magazines on your computer, iPad, Droid or Blackberry.

The Betsy Rodgers Allen Gallery is located on the first floor, just outside of the community room and features the work of new and established artists from the area. Because exhibits change monthly, there is always something new and local to enjoy.

The Nittany Valley Writers Network is a sharing, supportive, inspiring community linking local writers of all genres and levels of experience: expert and novice, published and hopeful.
Meetings are generally held at Schlow Library, 211 S. Allen Street, State College, on the second Tuesday of the month in the Downsbrough Community Room from 7 to 8:30 pm.

There are many access points for computing at Schlow. Near the reference desk, there are 18 computers, 2 express stations. and 3 Microsoft computers. We also have Wi-Fi throughout the building. Some of the desks in the Read Room are wired to connect to the internet without a wifi card.
