ArtsFest Looms....

In case you're new to the area (or you just can't believe it's already July), you may not know that ArtsFest '08 is about to erupt on Allen Street and beyond! Already the road in front of the library is closed and there is an intriguing food stand set up on our "front yard" - this will be my first year working downtown during ArtsFest, so I'm watching all this with a great deal of interest and enthusiasm.
If you're going to try to brave the confusion and come to the library (which I strongly suggest you do, as many of the butterflies from a previous blog post are emerging daily), I have some ideas for you....

1. If you come today (Tuesday), bring your car around back - off Pugh Street by Mad Mex - our parking lot is open, but you can only access it through the back gate.
2. If you come Wednesday through Saturday, you'll need to find another place to park. Better yet, take the bus! CATA has lines that will bring you right to the library if you need to.read more
