Coming up @ Schlow

OK, so the downloadable audio seems to be taking off wonderfully! Thanks to all of you who have checked it out and tried it. I know many people have wondered why it won't work with Macs or iPods and, simply put, it's a licensing thing. Unfortunately there is a lot of competition in the digital world and it takes a little while to work those issues out. Please be assured that we will provide access to iPod & Mac users as soon as it becomes available and affordable to us. Your library district pays for every book in the DA collection and that includes a licensing fee that allows us to let you "check out" those books without charge.
May is kind of a slow month here at Schlow, we're wrapping up Winter & Spring programs while ramping up the excitement for our Summer activities. There are a TON of things coming up at the library for the summer including Summer Reading Programs. I have heard many people say, "Oh those Summer Reading Programs are so cute for the kids" - Don't "kid" yourself! We are also offering programs for adults and young adults during the summer. Whether you are 1 year old or 98 years young, we offer a program suitable for you. read more
