Veronica Silliman is a local art teacher and a State College native. Her wildlife subjects are expressively rendered with bold brush strokes and a bright palette. Her influences include her former instructor, Karl Eric Leitzel and the illustrations of Clement Hurd whose style was made famous by Margaret Wise Brown's book "Goodnight Moon." Each animal portrait is imbued with its own personality-a touching display for any animal lover.
