Artist Ruth Kempner's winning exhibition

Look closely, this month's gallery exhibition is anything but ordinary.  A veteran artist, Ms. Kempner has been teaching for more than 30 years and has studied at NYU, Yale, PSU, and the Rhode Island School of Design. Working in collage, watercolor, ink, and a variety of other mediums, Ms. Kempner's sense of whimsy and intense thoughtfulness can be found lurking within her art's subject matter. So take a few minutes to study each piece. You're guaranteed to find something more than your first impression.
