Judith Bogert's watercolors
The Betsy Rodgers Allen Gallery will feature the photorealistic watercolor paintings of Judith Bogert throughout the month of May. Ms. Bogert began painting in 1999, studying watercolor under local artist and teacher Ruth Kempner. Drawn to "The way in which the paints develop a life of their own, exploding and recombining on the page," her mastery over this difficult medium is clearly evident in A Second Bloom and Meals Ready to Eat. She is a regular exhibitor in the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts and in numerous local galleries.
