Retrospective on local architect M. Robert Des Marais
A retrospective on the works of M. Robert Des Marais will be featured in the gallery throughout the month of July. An associate professor at Pennsylvania State University, Des Marais was heavily influenced by Frank Lloyd Wright and was one of State College's most prolific architects. His design for the facade of the first Schlow Library on College Avenue will be among those prints on display.
There are also notebooks filled with photos of State College architecture in the reference section of the adult department. Stop by and browse through them.
