Lisa Dawn White is an artist with an extraordinary eye for botanical collage. As the days shorten and the skies turn gray, be sure to stop in the gallery to experience the fine detail of this exhibition in person. Her work will be on display throughout October.

Ms. White draws inspiration for this exhibition from the Hopi tradition of Kachinas and their representation of the forces of nature. Her creative intention is that her collages will inspire people to observe nature more closely. Other inspirations include the Art Nouveau movement, Asian landscape paintings, Georgia O'Keefe's floral studies, Native American and Tribal art and symbolism, especially sand painting and mandalas. The title of her works are often inspired by myths, fairytales, folklore, stories, and songs. Ms. White's work is exhibited periodically and is for sale at galleries throughout the county. Select works are available by catalog or by visiting her website. She is represented locally by The Gallery Shop in Lemont, PA and by Contempo Artisan Boutique in Boalsburg, PA.
