BookFestPA a success - watch for us in 2011!

The first annual BookFestPA - a celebration of books, reading and authors - was a success. Over 280 people attended the event - 130 people listened to Chris McDougall's talk. We will start planning for next year soon. Thanks to everyone who helped so much, especially the Friends of Schlow Library, the Nittany Valley Writers' Network, Webster's, the Arts Festival, the Schlow Library staff and the authors of Central Pennsylvania.  Many thanks also to the media that helped to publicize the event - Town and Gown, Centre Daily Times, State College magazine, statecollege.com. It does not happen if no one knows about it.
