Centre County Reads and the Center for American Literary Studies are pleased to sponsor this exciting event to tie in with our 2011 Reading Selection: Half Broke Horses by Jeannette Walls.

Visiting Assistant Professor Elizabeth Kadetsky, author of the memoir First There Is a Mountain: A Yoga Romance (2004), will lead a discussion about the unstable boundaries between memoir and fiction. Professor Kadetsky will comment on how she manages the distinction between fact and fiction in her writing and classes, reflect on Walls’s work and invite questions
from the audience.

Tuesday, February 22, 4 p.m.
