February First Thursday: Hope from Haiti
Paul Confer, a local realtor, was visiting Haiti on a mission trip when his world was shaken both literally and figuratively on January 12th. Within a matter of minutes, the world around him crumbled and buildings fell as the ground shook in one of the worst earthquakes in recorded history. His story, though, is one of hope, faith and solidarity. Please come to the community room for this special First Thursday presentation made possible by the Friends of Schlow Centre Region Library.
