New for Fall in the Adult Department! Join us for 4 weeks of information and fun.

Week 1 - September 21 - READ - Learn about Schlow's ebookeBook, or electronic book, is a book that you "read" on your computer screen. Schlow highlights one book a month from our collection of eBooks available at NetLibrary which can be found by logging into your account. There are many different books available for your perusal. collection and try out a nook, Kindle and Sony eReader.

Week 2 - September 28 - LISTEN - Learn about Schlow's downloadable audiobooks and the devices that play them.

Week 3 - October 5 - EXPLORE - Watch demonstrations of an iPhone and Droid. Bring your own phone and questions.

Week4 - October 12 - INTERACT - Learn more about Skype and Google Chat. Try it out! 

All classes will be in the READ Room in the Adult Department on the above Tuesdays from 10:30 - 11:30 AM. Please register by calling the referenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics.
