Tax help continues MWF until Monday, April 16

Help with Federal, Pennsylvania State, Tax and Rent Rebates and Local taxes every Monday and Wednesday from 12noon - 4 PM and every Friday from 10 AM - 2 PM in the Musser Room at Schlow Library. from February 6 through April 16. Call Centre County RSVP at 814-355-6816 for more information or to make an appointment. For taxpayers with low- and middle-income, with special attention to those age 60 and older.

Please bring the following with you:

-Proof of identification

-Birth dates for you, your spouse and dependents

-Bank routing numbers and account numbers for Direct Deposit

-current year's tax forms

-copy of last year's tax return(s)

-W-2 forms

-unemployment compensation statements

-SSA-1099 form if you received Social Security

-all 1099 forms

-all forms indicating federal income tax paid

-dependent care provider information (name, employer, ID, SSN)

-all receipts or canceled checks if itemizing deductions

-Social Security cards or other official documentation for yourself and all dependents.

-To file taxes electronically on a married-filing-joint tax return, both spouses must be present to sign the required forms.
