Wedding countdown

I am in Pittsburgh and we are preparing for the wedding. This does not stop me from reading and thinking about reading. First, I brought a new book, Insider's Guide to Pittsburgh . This really helped us when we (my daughter and I) were driving on wedding errands and decided to stop at the zoo. We wanted to check first to see if the zoo was open until 5 or 6 PM. Interestingly, the book actually said it was open from 9 AM until 6 AM!!!!! We correctly interpreted this to be a misprint and had a wonderful time watching the two new baby elephants until 6 PM.

My librarian daughter has piles of books everywhere, just like her mom. She is reading Einstein by Walter Isaacson, Citizen Girl by Emma McLaughlin & Nicola Kraus and The Book Thief by Markus Zusak. She is 90th on the list for Breaking Dawn - should I buy that for her? 

On the drive down, I continued to listen to People of the Book, but when I got to Pittsburgh, I had the book, so I finished reading it. I highly recommend the audio version of this book, but I don't drive enough to get through a whole book, so I usually read the end.
