Centre County Reads will show the academy-award-nominated animated film Persepolis at the State Theatre this Sunday (the 22nd) at 1 p.m. Admission is only $1. This event is sponsored by State College’s branch of the AAUW. http://www.aauwstatecollege.org/ Thank you to them!

We have recently met some wonderful Iranian students from Penn State. They are going to introduce the film and afterwards have a Q&A session about life in Iran today. The State Theatre has another event planned soon after the Persepolis screening, so we invite you to come over to Schlow Library’s community room right after the film for the Q & A session and refreshments.
