  • Freeman, Don.  Gregory's Shadow.  Puffin Books, 2002. Gregory Groundhog and his shadow desperately look for each other after they become separated just before their annual appearance on Groundhog Day.
  • Hoban, Tana.  Shadows and Reflections.  Greenwillow, 1990.  Photographs without text feature shadows and reflections of various objects, animals, and people. Hoban has included more examples of reflection than shadow, but readers will realize that a reflection is sometimes also a shadow.
