Reading spaces

JA Babay from the Centre Hall Library is reading "Janko and the Giant", the Breakfast Serial printed each Saturday in the CDT, at the Millheim Pool, starting today at 1 PM. This is one way to get kids to take a break out of the sun and sit down to rest a little during the hottest times of the day or during a thunderstorm break.

I have already shared with you my favorite place to read - in my swing out in my backyard. I have photos of people reading while they waited in line at Disney World (this works in any of those long long lines at the amusement parks). Books are portable, need no electricity and no special equipment, just you and your imagination.

More fun books for summer include Fearless Fourteen by Janet Evanovich (if you haven't read her, start with  One for the Money and count up!), Odd Hours by Dean Koontz, Blood Noir by Laurell Hamilton, and Sail by James Patterson. All of these authors are super popular and have many titles to their credit, so try any of them.
