Creating Like the Masters:

An art mini-course for kids in 2nd to 6th grade about famous artists, such as Vermeer, Michelangelo, van Gogh & Dali, and how they created their masterpieces. Registration requested, drop-ins welcome.

Sundays, January 27, & February 3, 10, & 17 @ 2 PM.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 10TH: IMPRESSIONISM

Rousseau, Degas, Monet, van Gogh, Cassatt, and Seurat. We will learn about the Impressionism styles, and then do activities inspired by these artists' masterpieces.

The Creating Like the Masters series:

Sunday, January 27th: Renaissance

Fra Angelico, Michaelangelo, Botticelli, da Vinci, Raphael, Titian, van Eyck, and Bruegel. We will learn about these artists, look at examples of their work, and then do activities inspired by their masterpieces.

Sunday, February 3rd: Baroque

Rubens, Bernini, Belasquez, Vermeer, Caravaggio, and Rembrandt. We will learn about the basics of these six artists, and then do activities inspired by their masterpieces.

Sunday, February 10th: Impressionism

Rousseau, Degas, Monet, van Gogh, Cassatt, and Seurat. We will learn about the Impressionism styles, and then do activities inspired by these artists' masterpieces.

Sunday, February 17th: Cubism/Surrealism/Abstract Expressionism

Picasso, Dali, Klee, Kandisky, Pollock, and Rothko. We will brieflygo over these movements in modern art, and then do activities inspired by these artists' masterpieces.
