Homeschooling Resources

We're pleased to have a section at Schlow and on our website dedicated to Homeschooling!

Looking for homeschool resources? Check out the Homeschool Display Shelf, located to the left of the door as you walk into the Children's Department. Throughout the school year, you will find resources for homeschool group study units, resource binders and subject-of-the-month materials.

Look to the left of this article (click "more info") for these resources:

• The May Homeschool Newsletter: Information for homeschoolers about events at the library, our resources, and May's featured subject.
• Art Resources: A recommendation list of books and materials for kids and parents focusing on one of May's featured subject: Art Resources.

At Schlow we have:

• The Homeschool Resources binder which contains Schlow resource lists for every monthly subject noted in this newsletter, concept kit and discovery pack lists as well as SCASD information and other homeschool-friendly materials!

• The Local Resources binder which lists classes, groups, art and music teachers, clubs and events of interest to homeschoolers.

• A Monthly Activities binder which lists local, free or low cost, educational activities by month.
