SCASD (State College Area School District) Student Services & Community Education Programs Present our Winter 2013 Brown Bag "Lunch Bunch" Parenting Discussions.

Join Connie Schulz, SCASD Family Outreach Specialist, and a variety of community resource people to meet other parents and share ideas.

Feel free to bring snacks or lunch for you and your child during the programs. Programs meet in the Schlow's Community Room. REGISTRATION REQUIRED, SEE BELOW FOR MORE DETAILS.

 

TUNING IN TO KIDS (TIK): RAISING EMOTIONALLY INTELLIGENT CHILDREN 

TUESDAYS, January 15, 22, & 29, and February 5, 12, & 19. (6 weeks) - 12 PM - 1:30 PM

 

This 6-week program helps you build and practice emotionally responsive parenting skills. TIK-style parental interaction helps children learn to think about and manage their feelings. Program size is limited for most effective discussion and practice.

Topics include: Understanding your child's emotional experience, Problem-solving and self-care for caregivers, Emotion coaching your child's anger and more!
