SCASD (State College Area School District) Student Services & Community Education Programs Present our Winter 2013 Parenting Discussions.
Join Connie Schulz, SCASD Family Outreach Specialist, and a variety of community resource people to meet other parents and share ideas.
Feel free to bring snacks or lunch for you and your child during the programs. Programs meet in the Schlow's Community Room. REGISTRATION REQUIRED, CLICK "MORE INFO" FOR THE DETAILS BELOW.
WEDNESDAY PARENT DISCUSSION TOPICS
March 13, 20, & April 24 (3 weeks) - 12 PM - 1:30 PM

April 24: How Much Is Enough and How Much is Too Much?
- We'll discuss the numerous meanings & situations to which these questions apply in family life. Join us to share your ideas & to try out some tools to measure this question.
Other Sessions in the series:
March 13: Temperament and Parent-Child Relationships
- Temperament traits, such as intensity and mood, greatly affect interactions between parents and children. We'll look at some of the possible outcomes and discuss positive ways to work together.
March 20: Friendship Skills
- We will discuss ways that parents can help children learn how to be good friends, and examine common friendship issues and resources.
April 24: How Much Is Enough and How Much is Too Much?
- We'll discuss the numerous meanings & situations to which these questions apply in family life. Join us to share your ideas & to try out some tools to measure this question.

Your request will be honored in the order it is received. child care by one week prior to the date needed or for the series by WEDNESDAY, MARCH 6 for planning & staffing purposes.
