 <description> The Chess Club will start up again on Saturdays from 1-4 PM in the Sun Room. Some instruction and assistance will be available. Bring a board, set and clock (if you have any). There are chess sets available at Schlow anytime, especially the beautiful sculpted set by Mark Pilato (see photo). You must be 8 or older to participate.

Register for the November Book Club beginning November 1 by clicking &amp;quot;Sign Me Up/Log In To The November Book Club&amp;quot; in the box to the left of the screen.  Remember to set a reading goal to win a prize!   &lt;strong&gt;The last day to log in books is November 30&lt;/strong&gt;.

To be counted, books must be logged in on the website.&lt;/strong&gt;  Pick up a paper logging chart in the Children&#039;s Department or use a downloadable chart from the box to the left to keep track of books that you have read.  Use the instructions on the chart to log in your books.  &lt;strong&gt;Remember, only books logged in on-line will count.&lt;/strong&gt;
&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Keep your spyglass at the ready!  Watch out for even more swashbucklin&#039; adventures at the library this November!
