Cultures and Crafts Party tonight in Bellefonte
In the sequel to Persepolis (Persepolis 2), Marji goes to school in Vienna and begins to understand how being Iranian is really important to her identity. Even though she decides not to live in Iran, because she can not have the kind of life she wants there, she never forgets where she comes from.
Celebrate wherever you, or your family, originally come from tonight at the Bellefonte Community Resource Center. (The address is 310 N. Allegheny St.) Tonight from 6:30-8:30 p.m. you and your family are invited to dress up in traditional clothing from your native or ancestral culture. There will be a craft project for kids and food for everyone. We’re hoping for a fun and festive event!
