Music Under the Stars: Lac La Belle and Pairdown Concert
Kick off Schlow's summer reading programs with some beautiful music underneath the night sky in Sidney Friedman Park.
Lac La Belle is a dynamic duo that epitomizes the folk music scene. They have what they call a "future-rustic" sound that mixes accordion, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, resonator guitar and vocals into a beautiful melody. This band combines the musical talent of Jennie Knaggs and Nick Schillace.
They will open with Pairdown, an acoustic folk duo from Pittsburgh. Pairdown's music has been described as "thought-out, double fingerpicked guitar beauty."
This show will take place on Thursday, June 14 at 7:00pm in Sidney Friedman Park (formerly Central Parklet) It is family-friendly, free and open to the public. Rain location: Schlow's Community Room
