Overdrive app now available for nooks!

Now users of NOOK HD, NOOK HD+, NOOK Tablet and NOOK Color can borrow eBooks and audiobooks wirelessly using the OverDrive app. Just go to your app store and search for Overdrive and download & open the app.  Click on the function key (depending on which nook you have) and choose Get Books. You can search for Schlow Library by zip code and the app will send you to the digital ebooks and audibooks. Find a book or an audiobook and check it out with your library card and download it. The first time, you will have to set up an Adobe Digital ID. This is very simple - just follow the cues in the app (when you try to download the first time). The ID will be your email address and a password that you choose. If you need help, stop by the Gadget Bar at the ReferenceQuestions that you ask of library staff that require knowledge of the content of the collection or other resources such as those on the web. Sometimes you are referred to the answer, hence Reference. Reference can also refer to our reference materials that are often encyclopedic books that have many volumes and a concentrated number of facts and/or statistics.
