The Friends of the Schlow
Centre Region Library links our Library and our community. It informs the public
about the Library programs, resources, and services for children, youth, and
adults. And, it provides support for these Library services.
The Friends is an
independent, non-profit organization open to everyone interested in our
Library.
When you become a member
of the Friends you can take pride in supporting a great community resource

Public Access Computers
Computer Software and Hardware

Summer Reading Programs for nearly 2,000 children
Annual "Write and Illustrate Your Own Book" Contest for Centre Region youth

Schlow Library Continues
Destination Library celebration with May's First Thursday Activity
State
College, Pa. —Schlow Centre Region Library continues to travel in May with
First Thursday
programs for all ages.
First Thursday
will be celebrated May 1. All activities and
programs are free and open to the public. No registration required.
7:30 p.m.:
Arietta in Concert, "Destination: Europe"
This 20-voice
women's chorale is an outreach ensemble of the State College Choral Society.
They'll be performing melodies from across Europe, weaving a triptyche that
spans different countries and cultures.
