Artist Statement
All my work is produced by the process of linoleum block printing. I use the
reduction process by which a single block is progressively cut away and printed
with progressively darker colors. I use oil based inks and print usually on
Fabriano papers. My edition sizes are small and strictly limited by the process
to the original number printed. These are not reproductions but are all original
prints produced in my studio north of Pittsburgh. My primary influences are
folklore, music, Celtic things, animals, dogs -- my dog Sundance -- oriental
rugs and the general magic surrounding us at all times, everywhere.
