Thanks to the generosity of many, the Centre Region has a great library facility
that can support for many years the increasing demands of the community for
essential library resources and services such as books, computer access, and
reading programs.
ANNUAL GIVING
Annual giving is the backbone of most non-profit
organizations. In Schlow Centre Region Library's 50 years of serving the
community, there has never been an annual call for support from the public …
until now.
For years the demand for resources and services has been mounting, but the
Library did not have the funding or the space to meet those needs adequately.
The goal of the Annual Fund Drive is to provide additional funds to purchase new books, CDs and DVDs, to support free programming for people of all ages, and to continue to offer up to date library services and technology. Your tax deductible contribution to the Annual Fund drive is a guaranteed investment in your community. The generous and enthusiastic support of our donors is vital to our community, both now and in the future.

HONOR AND MEMORIAL GIFTS
The loss of a loved one or a special event in a
person’s life may provide an opportunity to make one of the most meaningful
types of gifts to Schlow Centre Region Library.
Memorial and Honors
Gifts are a true "gift of knowledge." These gifts help us broaden and enrich our
holdings, while preserving the memory of a special person or pet or honoring a
special occasion or person.
Your gift will benefit countless library users and can be selected in areas of interest to the person honored. Or, the library will use the gift to add to the collection of books and other materials, purchase needed equipment and furniture, or provide library programs and services. There is no minimum for an honor or memorial gift.
The library will send notification of your gift to the person being honored or the family of the deceased; a listing of contributors to the library is published annually.
A bookplate or plaque noting “Purchased from the Gift Fund” is placed on all items purchased with donations. Your donation will be treated in that manner unless you specifically request otherwise. Click here for printable form.
