Videotape Service Equipment Programs

Videotapes may be booked from several sources. Reserves should be made several weeks in advance for items that must be borrowed from other libraries. 3-day videos cannot be reserved, but they can be held for one day if they are on the self when you call to reserve the video (235-7816). 3-week videos can be reserved and renewed.

The library has a copier and computers for use in the library. Check in the Children's and Adult Departments for rules on using the computers. Also available are various pieces of audiovisual equipment. Contact the adult department for details.

The Adult Department
There are public computer stations in the adult department which have Internet access. Two of the stations are "Internet Express" stations and have a 20 minute time limit. The 6 remaining public Internet stations are sit down stations with a one hour time limit. The Adult Department also has 5 Book Catalog and Magazine Index computers. All computers print to the reference desk printers (choice of color or black/white). There is a 10 cent charge per print.

Computer Lab
The second floor computer lab includes 10 computers with Internet access, flat-screened monitors and headphones. The lab is open during library hours and closes 15 minutes before the library closes. The lab is closed when computer classes are in session - check the lab for times.

The Children's Department
There is a Computer Lab just for children in the first floor Children’s Department. There is no Internet access at these computers. A child, accompanied by an adult, can use the Internet computers on the second floor. The Children's Department has three computers for educational games and four Book Catalog and Magazine Index computers.
