Summer Adult Programming at the Library

There is plenty to see, do, and learn in Schlow Centre Region Library's Adult Department this spring, including some new programs:

GO ANYWHERE WITH A BOOK, BUT COME HERE FIRST! We'll help you get started on a great summer journey of reading. Register by filling out this form and e-mail it to refdesk@schlowlibrary.org or bring it into the library (forms will be available there as well)

NEW THIS SUMMER: Go ANYWHERE! We've got downloadable audio books that count toward our summer reading program this year. This will allow you to take your books anywhere! Have someone snap a photo of you reading (or listening to) a book in your favorite place and bring it to the library, or e-mail it to refdesk@schlowlibrary.org for an additional chance at prizes!

SUMMER READING BOOK DISCUSSIONS (held 2:30-3:30 pm in our Community Room):
    June 10th:
Love in the Time of Cholera by Gabriel Garcia Marquez
July 22nd: Marley & Me by John Grogan
August 19th: A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose, by Eckhart Tolle

OTHER SPECIAL EVENTS:

your summer thoughts & special events.

games. Join us for our first foray into Interactive Mysteries!

GIFT BAG DRAWINGS:
Get an entry blank at the library or here for every book you read or listen to this summer, or for every 3 books you read to a child. Fill out the blank and bring it to the library to be entered into our monthly drawings for a fabulous gift bag like this one which will also include a selection of books with a local interest.. We are very grateful to the Friends of Schlow Library and Penn State University Press for their generous donations to our programs! Drawings will be held: June 26th, July 31st & August 28th

Knitting Group at the Library -
All ages & abilities are welcome, share some tips, learn new tricks and have a warm & fuzzy time at the library. Every other Monday from 6:30 - 8:30 pm - May 5 & 19, June 16 & 30
