Schlow Library has several event spaces available for public use. Please note the following:
Groups may schedule meetings for single or repeated use to a maximum of twice a month.
All events must be free of charge and open to the general public. Events must be of a non-commercial nature.
Requests for use of the spaces are to be made on an application form available at any public service desk, including the Administration Office. Reservations are confirmed through the Administration Office.
Prior to the event a waiver must be signed by someone taking responsibility for the group.
Community groups using event spaces are encouraged to consider making a donation to the Library. The suggested amount per event is $25.00. Donations may be made at the time of booking or at a later date. Checks can be written to Schlow Centre Region Library and mailed to the Library at 211 South Allen Street, State College, PA 16801.
Groups or a responsible adult must present a valid credit card when scheduling events. In the event of damage to the room or Library property, cost of repair, cleanup or replacement will be charged to the credit card account.
Applications must be made by an adult in all cases.
If the space is to be used by group members 17 years old or younger, an adult must be present at all times.
