John Carr will discuss his career, which has spanned more than three decades and continues to prove fruitful, with two books coming out in 2010 and three scheduled for 2011. His earlier books include Ophidian Conspiracy (1975) and Kalvin Kingmaker [1], (2001), as well as others written with Roland J. Green and Don Hawthorne. He will also discuss the thirty years he spent writing the biography of H. Beam Piper [2] (Altoona-born author of the Lord Kalvan of Otherwhen sci-fi saga), a project that brought him to Centre County several years ago.
