Storm Sandy tried to drown us, but the zombies will rise!

Dress in your best (or worst) zombie clothes and come to the library to get your zombie make up on (or do your own)! Learn how to act like a zombie! After the walk, the Wii will be set up for Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party, and you'll have a chance to decorate bloody red cupcakes, and more!

All ages of the undead are invited! Read on for the schedule of activities and rules.

Schedule of Zombie Activities:  [Attention: Due to Daylight Savings Time, zombies will walk a little earlier to ensure all zombies are safe.]

4.15 - 5.15pm Make-up/Zombie 101 [Community Room]

5.15 - 5.30pm Zombie Walk Around the Block! Walk Route: Beaver to Fraser/ to College and up Allen to Library!

5.30 - 7.30pm Play Rayman Raving Rabbids on the Wii, or Decorate Bloody Red Cupcakes [Community Room]

These are general rules of zombie walk participation.

1. BE COURTEOUS TO OTHERS!
Don't harass or touch anyone who doesn't want to be involved.

2. ABSOLUTELY NO VIOLENCE OR VANDALISM!
Zombie walks should be fun, peaceful events where the dead come back to be silly and weird. They are NOT excuses to run around in destructive mobs.

3. Don't leave any messes that need to be cleaned up.
No bloody hand prints on anyone's property or empty makeup/blood packaging or other litter scattered around. Refer back to rules #1 and #2.

4. You are your own zombie.
You are responsible for yourself and your actions. Be a smart zombie!

5. Don't play in the street.
Stay out of the way of moving vehicles. You should have learned this about the same time you learned to walk.

6. HAVE FUN!
While not doing anything that will ruin the fun for everyone else.
