If you have not tried Zinio yet, go now! There are great children's and parenting magazines available!

Get free, full-color magazines through schlowlibrary.org. Go to our website, click the link to log on to Schlow's databaseA subscription to a (password protected) website full of information. page, click on Zinio and follow the instructions to log on to Schlow's Zinio magazine collection. You will also have to set up a Zinio account (free) to access the magazines on your computer, iPad, Droid or Blackberry.

Once you have subscribed to the magazine, you can access it from any device that has the Zinio app. Children's Magazines include ChickaDEE, Chip, and Owl, plus other interesting magazines such as National Geographic, and the Smithsonian magazine! There are also magazines for parents such as Parenting (both the early years and school years) Today's Parent, and Fit Pregnancy. Log on to find the magazines that you want to read anyplace, any time, on any device. They are amazing.

Here's a great way to add to your music collection - for free! Schlow now offers free MP3 music file downloads on our website through Freegal Music, an online databaseA subscription to a (password protected) website full of information. that provides access to songs from the Sony Music Entertainment catalog.

To view, browse, and download music from Freegal, go to the box near the top of Schlow's homepage that says "Our Online Resources 24/7" and select "Download music" from the drop down menu. All Schlow Centre Region Library cardholders are eligible for three free MP3 downloads per week. A Schlow library card number and PIN are all that are necessary to access and download songs. The music files are compatible with PCs, Macs, iPods, iPads and other MP3-compatible devices and do not expire. No special software is needed to use the service and there are no digital rights management restrictions.

Freegal Music contains over 500,000 songs from Sony Music artists, including the Silly Kidz, Kidz Bop Kids, The Backyardians, and much more!

New music is added daily, and there are thousands of artists, tens of thousands of albums, and. over 100 genres of music represented. The content is based upon a license with Sony Music Entertainment, owner of 54 music labels.
