If you are involved with a reading group and would like up to 10 copies of Perspolis for your group, give me a heads up. Now that our program is over, we have more copies than we need. They are housed at Schlow Library, so email me if you are interested (email@example.com).
Of course, books at the libraries are always free (as long as you get them back on time ;-)
Water for Elephants by Sarah Gruen (fiction): Ninety-something-year-old Jacob Jankowski remembers his time in the circus as a young man during the Great Depression, and his friendship with Marlena, the star of the equestrian act, and Rosie, the elephant, who gave them hope. Everyone is welcome to attend the discussion and reading the entire book is not required for participation.more info
