    Come one, Come all! We've designed programs to introduce children of all ages to the library and its materials, to encourage interaction with others and to foster a love of children's literature. Enjoy storytimes, movies, or special performances!

    Children learn best when they are able to build knowledge through meaningful play, active exploration of the environment and thoughtfully planned activities... and that's what Discovery Tuesdays @ Schlow are about!

     

    These activities are designed to be fun, interactive learning experiences.

    Itty Bitty Underground City - Buildings: We're building an underground city at Schlow! Create an itty bitty building of your very own, plus one to add to Schlow's city.

  • Everybody Storytime

    A half-hour of interactive and engaging stories. 

    Story programs for children ages two to 7 years old designed to promote early literacy.

     

    Join us this summer for storytimes on TUESDAYS:

    JUNE 18 - 10:30AM

    JULY 9 - 10:30AM

    JULY 23 - 10:30AM

     

    Schlow's lively storytimes are designed to introduce children to the Library and its materials. The hands-on format encourages engagement with others as well as interaction between parents and children in a group setting. An adult must accompany each child. 

     

    Space limited to 25 children per session. NO ADVANCE REGISTRATION NEEDED - just sign up at the Children's Desk on the day of the storytime. Drop-ins welcome!
