Scott Weidensaul – Learn the real scoop on bird migration from renowned naturalist Scott Weidensaul! An active field researcher specializing in birds of prey and hummingbirds, he is a hugely popular speaker who we are thrilled to welcome to BookFest PA.

The author of more than two dozen books, including Living on the Wind: Across the Hemisphere with Migratory Birds, Weidensaul’s work has appeared in Audubon, Smithsonian, the New York Times, Nature Conservancy, and National Wildlife

Rebecca Hirsch – Award-winning State College author Rebecca Hirsch uses her awesome science background to bring vivid, exciting portraits of nature, geography and the world of innovations to her young readers. Students grades 1-5 discover a magical land where everyone speaks a universal language. Join fellow heroines and heroes as they listen to a story, learn a special language skill, engage in a creative hands-on activity, and discover an exciting new place to explore!

Drawing upon what we learned last week, we will continue our discussion about children's behavior and look at discipline techniques that teach and help them to become more responsible.
